Bacon, bacon, and more bacon! Okay Friends… Here it is… a compilation of bacon recipes!! I’d put the shout out to some other food bloggers, and actually received 234 submissions! If I had all the time in the world, I’d share them all with you (except for the vegan one… I’m not sure how a vegan managed to make a bacon recipe, but I don’t think it’ll fit into what we’re doing here.)
My blog is 2 months old today, and this is my gift to all the people who have followed and supported me thus far. This is also a gift to all the followers of the following recipes (and a bribe). Bacon is the best. No matter how you’ve stumbled across this post, and when, and for whatever reason… we are united in our love of bacon, and this is a thank you gift for you too–for being my new best friend-in-bacon.
Without further ado, here are the recipes that I picked out of the bunch. I tried to categorize them as best as I could, which was hard, but I can’t very well just put them all in the bacon category- you know?
Breakfast and Brunch
Mini Brie and Bacon Quiches
Delicious Table is another food blogger that I featured in my last Roundup. Her recipes are just amazing, and she is fun to follow. You really should go check her out. I absolutely want to make a bunch of these in bulk, and freeze them for easy, protein packed, and enjoyable breakfasts. Aren’t they cute, too?
Bacon Chocolate Chip Waffles
These delicious waffles are made by Julie, a full time scientist who enjoys baking when she isn’t in the lab. Baking truly is a science, so trusting a recipe from a scientist is a really great idea.
Julie says of her recipe: “Salty, smokey bacon with sweet and melty chocolate chips. It’s easy to see why these bacon chocolate chip waffles are so crowd pleasing!” I’m sold, and I can’t wait to make them (in my son’s Avengers waffle iron!)
Bacon & Nutella Stuffed Waffles
This is another blogger who I featured in my last article, 20 Romantic Dinners to Make at Home, and who continues to make me hungry with her beautiful and unique recipes; Besides, how could I not share Bacon & Nutella Stuffed Waffles? There’s a video too, if you prefer to learn a new recipe that way.
Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Bourbon Glaze
Crispy bacon meets juicy Extra-Jumbo shrimp and a caramelized brown sugar-bourbon glaze. These Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp are easy to make and will wow your guests every time!
Head on over to Striped Spatula for this recipe, as well as instructions on how to peel and devein your shrimp (it’s easy), some information on how shrimp is sized, and more!
These are the kind of appetizers you bring to a gathering if you want to leave with empty containers. People are surprised to hear the ingredients, because they assume there is more to it, but every time we’ve added anything, the consensus is that the simpler version is better. The few ingredients just complement each other perfectly already.
If you want to kick it up a notch, try it with some homemade mayonnaise. This is also really good with maple bacon.
This is by yours truly. Click here to get the recipe.
Creamy Sauerkraut Spread with Bacon, Garlic & Shallots
Here’s one of my favorite food bloggers. I featured one of Michele (Bacon Fatte)’s recipes in my compilation of 20 Romantic Dinner’s you can make at Home, and of course I’m going to feature her dish in my compilation of bacon recipes!
Of this recipe, she says: “This is not your typical dip or spread – its tangy, bacon-y, garlic-y goodness makes it completely crave-worthy. Enjoy as a dip with crackers, veggies, meatballs and wings, or spread it on sandwiches, sliders and burgers for a wonderfully flavorful twist!”

Bacon Wrapped Smokies and Pineapple
This is another one of our own recipes. We generally made them without the pineapple, and they would disappear very quickly. We recently decided to add a chunk of pineapple to the already amazing pair, and it was AWESOME!
When it comes to these, and many other things, I highly recommend you use a cooking stone instead of a traditional baking sheet. It keeps them from getting dark on the bottom before they’re done (this goes the same for making biscuits, and all sorts of other things…I just highly recommend a cooking stone!)
Twice Baked Potatoes with Perfectly Paired Ingredients
Even if you aren’t a fan of brie cheese, I suggest you give these a try. My husband doesn’t care for brie, but there is just the slightest hint of it here, and it perfectly compliments the other ingredients. He wasn’t just saying that to make me happy, because he isn’t like that for one thing, and he ate almost all of these potatoes for another. He will happily eat them again when I make it…very very soon!

Lunch & Dinner
Bacon Weave Blue Cheese Burgers with Marsala Onions
Would you look at this? I don’t feel like I need to come up with anything to say about it. You can read the name, and you can see the picture, and that really says it all. I just ate dinner, and my stomach is growling from looking at this.
Smoked Gouda and Bacon Stuffed Pork Chops
This may just be the most beautiful pork chop I’ve ever seen. The creator of this one specializes in cooking for two, and I recommend you check it out if you want some recipes like that. My family is pretty big, but I will still be stalking these recipes because they are amazing, and I can always multiply them. In fact I might just multiply this one by 100 and stock up the freezer, because this looks amazing enough to eat forever.
Hatch Chile Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Can you imagine yourself biting into this sandwich? I can! I’m finally ready to graduate from the basic cheddar grilled cheese sandwich of my childhood and try out this more grown up version (unless I catch a bug, and then I’ll still want it precisely how my mom made it for me.)
Bacon Cheeseburger Meat Loaf
Heres a recipe by One Dish Kitchen, and it’s only for one person because that’s what she specializes in. I would happily multiply this for my whole family to have their own little meat loaves, and I’m pretty sure that when I told them it was Bacon Cheeseburger Meat Loaf for dinner–I’d have an excited husband and kids ready to eat their food!
BLT Rice Bowl with Avocado Lime Dressing
This is definitely going to be happening at my house soon. Like the author and creator says, and I agree, “bacon and avocado never ruined my day,” and what a way to enjoy getting your veggies!
Bacon Sriracha Chicken Skewers
The person in my life who has celiac disease is also a lover of Sriracha, so I am excited to have this recipe to add to my arsenal. Of course, my favorite part of this is the bacon, but you probably already know that seeing as how I’m making an entire compilation of bacon recipes!
Bourbon Glazed Cajun Shrimp and Cheddar Grits
I have this theory that the best food bloggers have “thyme” in their name, and while that might play a role in why I selected this recipe (out of the 234 submissions I got in a matter of days), but I have to honestly admit that it was probably more because of the words bacon, bourbon, shrimp and cheddar. Those words get me listening.
Bacon Cheddar Chive Bread
I’m sharing another one from Bunsen Burner Bakery, because like I mentioned in Julie’s Bacon Chocolate Chip Waffles recipe in the breakfast section, she is a scientist. Not only do I just think that is really cool, but baking is a science, so I just trust her recipes to be good.
You can get this recipe here.
Cheddar Chive and Bacon Biscuits
These only take 15 minutes to prep, and you can make them ahead. I have a feeling that there will be a batch or two of these in my freezer soon! *Fist bumps The Seasoned Mom.*
Bacon Chicken Salad with Grapes
You can put this on your sandwiches, which is what we normally do, but I end up eating half of it before it even gets to the bread. If you’re gluten free or low carb, wrap it up in some lettuce, or scoop it into an avocado. This chicken salad is amazing, and if you want to escalate it into the heavenly realm…make it with the best homemade mayonnaise you’ll ever taste.

Hot German Potato Salad
This is beautiful. I love potato salad. I love hot potato salad. I love bacon. I love cast iron. I think I love this food blogger. If you decide to make this, and you are local to me, please invite me right over!
Shaved Brussels Sprout Caesar Salad
The creator of this mountain of goodness promises that if you never liked Brussels sprouts before, you will now. This doesn’t look like it could possibly be bad, so I think I believe it.
Broccoli Bacon Grape Blue Cheese Salad
Here’s a delicious way to get broccoli into yourself! It’s lightly steamed too, so it won’t be difficult to eat. Bacon and blue cheese make an amazing pair, and this salad and myself would also make a great pair!
Bourbon Bacon Cinnamon Rolls
Oh, this looks so ooey, gooey, creamy and delightful! As if the cinnamon roll couldn’t get any better, you go and put bacon on it? Perfection!
Banana Upside Down Cake with Maple Toffee Sauce and Beer Candied Bacon
Did this baker make a list of all the things that are good in the world, and then decided to make a cake of them? I’m not a cake eater personally, but on my next birthday… HINT HINT…This would do mighty fine!
Bacon Bourbon Maple Old Fashioned
OK, even if you don’t want to try this drink for some reason, you really ought to head over to the Ramshackle Pantry blog anyway, simply because of his sense of humor. I was only meaning to give his page a quick glance, but I was laughing within seconds, and I now follow him on Facebook and subscribe to his blog.
Anyway, have you heard of fat washing a drink? He’s going to tell you how to do it (it’s easy) and you can soon be making these impressive drinks yourself.
Bacon Washed Bourbon Champagne Cocktail
Bacon Washed Bourbon Champagne is actually featured in my “20 Romantic Dinners at Home” post, because even though it’s not actually a dinner, it looks really good and I couldn’t help myself. Here it is again. Bourbon and bacon… these are some good things! Hey, go check out her blog if you’re interested in a Birthday Cake Margarita, and a Cotton Candy Margarita. I know I am!
